Barry K. Brown, EA

Barry is a licensed Enrolled Agent: a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation.  Barry founded the office over 25 years ago after working in the family business with his father, M. T. Brown.  Barry is well-versed in all areas of taxation; however he has a special emphasis in the areas of: multi-state individual taxation, trusts, estates, non-profit, and financial estate planning.  He is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) which adhere to the highest ethical standards for this specialty as well as requiring 30 hours of continuing education in the areas of taxation and ethics yearly.

Jo S. Brown, LMSW

Jo has worked as an accountant in the company for over 20 years.  A graduate of the USC-Columbia College of Social Work, Jo is also a licensed Master of Social Work - SC.  Her specialties include geriatric accounting & financial services, client advocacy, life-transition planning, and business program planning & policy creation.  She is a member of the National Society of Social Workers (NASW).
